It featured a rattlesnake and the words “Don’t tread on me.” Commodore Hopkins and his sailors and marines hoisted this flag from the USS Alfred and then the gadsden flag. The design of the US national flag was first published in America’s first political cartoon by Ben Franklin.
Although many people attribute the flag design to Thomas Jefferson, the flag is not actually his creation. There are many other designers who contributed to the American flag. The Hopkins Flag Program played its final game at US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis on September 7, 2017. The team played on the same field as the Minnesota Vikings. Athletes should arrive at least five to ten minutes early to hand off their equipment to their coach. They should wear cleats at this game. They should carry their cleats in during check-in. Games begin at 5:30 p.m. and each athlete will play multiple games in a two-hour time frame.
